The Tourist farm MAK is located on Stolni Vrh, in a peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards, just 3 kilometers from Maribor. Virtually in the city, yet still in the countryside.
We cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards planted mainly with indigenous Styrian grape varieties: Welschriesling, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, and Yellow Muscat, as well as others such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The cultivation of our grapes follows the principles of organic farming, which is based on sustainable practices in harmony with nature. With great respect for nature and tradition, and with love and passion, we produce wines that inspire us.
We entered organic certification and, after three years, received certification for organic game farming and grape production, as well as the transition to organically produced wine.
Our wines are aged in oak barrique barrels, and as a novelty, we are introducing natural wine fermentation in clay amphorae.
